Austria’s Kurz pleased with Armenia-Azerbaijan FMs meeting in Vienna

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. Foreign minister of Austria Sebastian Kurz says he was pleased that the meeting of Armenia’s and Azerbaijan’s FMs was possible on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Vieena.

“I am glad that several meetings were organized on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting, including between the US and Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. These are very small, but positive signals which we need”, the OSCE Chairperson said at the end of the ministerial meeting.

In terms of the end of Austria’s term in the OSCE Chairmanship, Kurz thanked member states for cooperation.

“The OSCE is a unique organization. At times of increasing absence of security it is important that we have such an organization, which advocates security and trust and struggles for it”, he said.
