Armenia ahead of neighboring countries in Global Innovation Index 2017

YEREVAN, JUNE 15, ARMENPRESS. The World Intellectual Property Organization(WIPO) released its Global Innovation Index 2017, where Armenia is ranked 59th among 127 countries.

In the low and middle income group of countries, Armenia is ranked among top 20 most productive countries.

In addition, Armenia is among the top 5 countries with agricultural labor productivity growth with Slovenia, Bahrain, Luxembourg and Belgium.

Armenia’s neighbors Georgia is ranked 68th, Iran 75th, Azerbaijan 82nd and Turkey 43rd.

The index is led by Switzerland, Sweden and Netherlands.
