Armenia’s Prime Minister extends condolences to Iran’s first VP Jahangiri

YEREVAN, JUNE 7, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan sent a condolence letter to First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the government's press service told ARMENPRESS.

“I was deeply concerned to learn of the shooting and explosion that hit the Imam Khomeini Mausoleum and the Iranian Parliament, killing many people and leaving numerous wounded.

We strongly condemn terrorism, the fight against which is a common interest. Offering my deep sympathy and condolences to the victims’ families, I wish the wounded a speedy recovery,” the Prime Minister said in the telegram.
