STEPANAKERT, JUNE 5, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian government has taken steps, which have also contributed to the development of Artsakh’s tourism – starting with the visa waiver for Russian citizen, Artsakh’s PM Arayik Harutyunyan told a press conference.
According to the Prime Minister, the Artsakhi government is also in favor of this policy.
“The tourism indicator hasn’t decreased compared to the previous years. I’ve been notified from hotels that they are already crowded. The important thing is that we are feeling the growth. In the event of the hotels becoming not enough for tourists, we will freeze several projects and boost hotel construction. For instance, the investment for the building near Renaissance Square is ready for constructing a hotel. Up until recently the number of hotels wasn’t enough, but rather very much”, the PM said.
In his words, prerequisites are in place for 2018-2019 in the direction of economic growth.
