Interbank market of Armenia: transactions of $ 5 million take place this week

YEREVAN, MARCH 9, ARMENPRESS. 61 million 924 thousand and 159 USD were purchased in the period of March 6-10 with 485.53 AMD average exchange rate of USD in the intra bank market of Armenia. In the same period 70 million 498 thousand and 633 USD were sold with an average exchange rate of 487.18 AMD.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia, 5 million USD were sold and purchased in the interbank currency market with 486.27 AMD as an average exchange rate of the USD.

Transactions of 800 thousand USD took place at “Nasdaq OMX Armenia” OJSC in the abovementioned period.

In the period of March 6-10, AMD disbursements totaled 43.7 billion, while USD disbursements totaled 488.2 million.
