Over 138 thousand people leave Mosul due to military operation

YEREVAN, JANUARY 9, ARMENPRESS. Over 138 thousand people had to leave their homes from the city of Mosul due to the military operation launched against the “Islamic State” terrorist group, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) said, reports RIA Novosti.

IOM reports 137 thousand 880 people or 22 thousand 980 families left their homes in Iraq on October 17, 2016 since the start of the military operation in Mosul.
