Putin endorses Russia-Belarus unified energy market agreement

YEREVAN, JULY 29, ARMENPRESS.Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree supporting the Agreement on the formation of the common energy market of the Common State of Russia and Belarus. The document requesting the signing of the agreement at the top level has been published on the portal of legal information, Tass reports.

“Approve the proposal of the Government of the Russian Federation to sign the above-mentioned agreement at the highest level,” the order reads.

The formation of the unified energy market was discussed, in particular, during the Russian leader's visit to Belarus in May this year.
