Rio 2016: Armenian welterweight boxer Vladimir Margaryan wins first bout

YEREVAN, AUGUST 8, ARMENPRESS. Armenian welterweight boxer Vladimir Margaryan has defeated his first opponent in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Margaryan was competing against Winston Hill from Fiji.

All three judges scored the bout in favor of Margaryan. The Armenian boxer will face Cuban Roniel Iglesias as his next opponent on August 11.
