Armenian and Georgian football federation delegations meet in Tbilisi

Delegations from the football federations of Armenia and Georgia have met in Tbilisi, the Football Federation of Armenia said in a statement.

The two sides discussed preparations and organisational matters related to jointly hosting the 2029 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

“We discussed the launch of our cooperation and ways to represent our countries in the best possible way. We will hold our next meeting in October, this time in Armenia, and will host FIFA representatives. By then, we will have a clear plan for the next steps,” said Tatevik Asatryan, Deputy General Secretary of the Football Federation of Armenia.
