YEREVAN, APRIL 25, ARMENPRESS. Renowned Armenian star Kim Kardashian posted a note in her “Instagram” page. As “Armenpress” reports, she urged to be united for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
“I can't believe it has been a year since my cousins, Khloe, Kanye, North and I visited Armenia and learned so much about our family history. Today marks the 101st year of the Armenian Genocide. Over 1.5 million Armenians were massacred by the Ottoman Empire. Today is an extremely important day of memorial for me and millions of fellow Armenians across the world. We need to stand together as one and help get the#ArmenianGenociderecognized”, Kim Kardashian said.
Earlier her sister Khloe also posted a note which says: “Today marks the 101 year anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Genocides, massacres, human slaughter... are despicable acts!! Itis also our duty to not be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation no matter their race or creed. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. I am proud to be Armenian and I won't be silenced or made to believe the stories of our ancestors are "exaggerated". Today let's respect the eternal memory of those who perished in this undeniable act of hate”.
