Nagorno Karabakh commission receives info on missing soldier

YEREVAN, APRIL 13, ARMENPRESS. The Azerbaijani side has reported information regarding one missing soldier. This was stated by Chairman of the Nagorno Karabakh POWs, Hostages and Missing people Commission Viktor Kocharyan.

“I have received this information by the representatives of the International Red Cross Committee. Now that information is being clarified, if we determine that the corpse is in fact the corpse of the missing Armenian soldier, immediate transfer of the body will be conducted”, Viktor Kocharyan said.

As a result of the Azerbaijani large scale military attacks 19 Armenian soldiers were missing in action. 18 corpses were transferred to the Armenian side by Azerbaijan. The faith of one soldier remained unknown.
