The regular Cabinet meeting will take place on March 24. The government will discuss the strategy of the National Tuberculosis Control 2016-2020 and its event schedule. The Government will extend the deadline of VAT payments by 3 years of some companies. These and other questions will be discussed at the session of the government, while outside the government building, taxi drivers are protesting again. They are protesting against the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
In addition to the Cabinet meeting, the Tuberculosis topic will be discussed in the Ministry of Healthcare. March 24 is World Tuberculosis Day. On this occasion healthcare professionals will present the latest data regarding the disease and programs aimed at combating Tuberculosis in Armenia.
"Export support and financing opportunities" conference will be held in Yerevan. During the conference “Armenia Export Insurance Agency" and "Armswissbank" will sign a memorandum of understanding.
Arthur Apikyan and Inga Avagyan, the lawyers of the “Express Credit” scam victims, will speak about the organization’s criminal activities and hindering the judicial process.
Professor of Geopolitics Raymond H. Kevorkian of the Sorbonne University will deliver a lecture on current developments of the Middle East. The topic is “Great Powers and the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East."
The session of the interdepartmental commission coordinating the issues of Syrians in Armenia will begin headed by Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan. Implemented programs and works will be presented, as well as future projects. Issues regarding asylum seekers, as well as citizenship or residency permit seekers will be discussed.
March 25 is Greek Independence Day. President of the Greek NGO «Ilios» Slava Rafayelidis and President of "Human rights, Policy and humanitarian issues association" Lt. Gen. Eduard Manevidis will speak to reporters. They will present the upcoming festivities and the problems of the Greek community in Armenia.
The first electoral round of the President’s 2015 Youth Prize will be held in the Komitas Museum-Institute.
