YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 10, ARMENPRESS. Karl Lagerfeldis to design costumes for “Brahms-Schönberg Quartet” at Opéra Bastille this summer, ”Armenpress” reports, citing WWD website.Benjamin Millepied, who is stepping down as the Opera’s director of dance, enlisted Lagerfeld for the George Balanchine dance piece, slated for performances from July 2 to 15.

“This is a more romantic Balanchine. I’ll make it very Vienna Secession,” Lagerfeldtold WWD. “That’s the mood of the music.”

The multitasking designer also recently wrapped the campaign forChanel’s latest Métiers d’Art collection, dubbed Paris-Rome, which features actressKristen Stewart.

Lagerfeld rented a huge apartment near the Opera Garnier and decorated it with his own collection of Art Deco furniture by Louis Süe and André Mare, heightening the Parisian atmosphere.
