230 people who suffered acute respiratory infections discharged from hospitals of Armenia

YEREVAN, JANUARY 21, ARMENPRESS. 230 people who suffered acute respiratory infections were cured and discharged from hospitals of Armenia on January 21. 177 of them are under 18. Pneumonia was diagnosed for 120 patients, 36 of which were children.

“Armenpress” informs that according to the monitoring conducted by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia over acute respiratory infections and flu, the situation is stable. Cases of going ill, as well as critical conditions have a declining tendency. Particularly, there are no critical cases among children and pregnant women.

All preventive and curative measures are underway. In order to preserve the stable situation and considering the key importance of avoiding mass interactions for preventing the dissemination of the infection, the Health Ministry proposed to prolong winter holidays of secondary and primary schools of the republic by another week.
