Varuzhan Sukiasyan named best football coach in Armenia

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. Football Federation of Armenia summed up the 2015 results of voting in the nomination of "Best Coach of the Year", held from 11 to 21 December, as “Armenpress” reports, citing the official website of the Armenian Football Federation.
Head coach of Armenian National team and FC "Ararat" Yerevan Varuzhan Sukiasyan was named the best coach of 2015 who collected 132 points. 17 voters put him in first place, 12 - second, 11 - third.
Second in the category was the head coach of the FC "Alashkert" Yerevan Abraham Khashmanyan, the third - the former acting head coach of the Armenian national team and mentor of FC "Pyunik" Yerevan Sargis Hovsepyan.
47 people voted over 16 candidates proposed by FFA coaches. Members of the Board of FFA club, presidents of Premier League clubs, head coaches, team captains and journalists participate in voting. Each offers three candidates - for the first, second and third place.
Varuzhan Sukiasyan will receive a special prize, a certificate and a cash prize of 2 million drams (more than 4 thousand USD). He was appointed head coach of the Armenian national team on December 10.
