5 People detained in Brussels over Paris attacks

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. 5 people were arrested in Brussels on December 20 on the same day of searches connected with Paris terrorist acts. “Armenpress” reports the aforementioned, referring to Belgian federal prosecutor's office.
Two people had been detained early on December 21 and three other people detained late Sunday in Brussels in connection with the Paris attacks in November, the Belgian federal prosecutor said.
An investigating judge who specializes interrorism cases ordered a search of a house in Brussels Sunday, the prosecutor said in a statement.
The search was connected with the federal investigation of the Paris attacks that killed 130 people and based on a "thorough analysis of phone records."
Two brothers were taken for questioning, as well as a third person, who is a friend of the two brothers, the statement said.
Authorities today searched another house in Laeken, also in Brussels, according to the Belgian federal prosecutor's statement, where two people were arrested.
No explosives or weapons were found during the searches, the statement said.
