Deputy Minister of Finance of Armenia discusses customs service cooperation in Tehran

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 29, ARMENPRESS. Delegation of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, headed by Deputy Minister Armen Gevorgyan, was in Tehran on a working visit from September 24-28.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Information and Public Relations Division of the Ministry of Finance of Armenia, during the negotiations with the Deputy Finance Minister and head of theCustoms Serviceof Iran,Masoud Karbasian, issues of developing cooperation between the customs services of Armenia and Iran were discussed. Particularly, the sides referred to electronic information exchange of customs data, financial and joint investment projects.

The sides indicated the necessity to simplify the process of border crossing by the citizens of both countries in their own transport means aimed to foster tourism, as well as the necessity to organize the transportation of goods and passengers quicker.
