Artsakh PM allocates funds for housing to 18 families

STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. The Prime Minister of Artsakh Republic, Arayik Harutyunyan, received 18 families and allocated them 3 million AMD assistance in the framework of the program on housing for young families residing in rural areas. This was the first stage of the program. As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Nagorno Karabakh Government, congratulating the first beneficiaries of the program, the PM mentioned that housing program is a priority among the social policies conducted by the authorities and the Government will keep an eye on it during the upcoming years.

“The problem is more severe in rural communities and the Government will try to alleviate it by the means of social policies. Of course, we understand that it is impossible to construct a house by 3 million drams, but we have no doubt that it, as a donation, will greatly foster the construction of houses”, said PM Harutyunyan.

Arayik Harutyunynan added that taking into account the huge demand in the Republic, the program will continue also during the upcoming years and will include nearly 150 rural families annually. For their turn the first beneficiaries of the program expressed gratitude for the Government assistance and emphasized that it is a significant contribution for ensuring welfare among young families and for the development of rural communities.
