His Eminence Bagrat officially assumes leadership of heroic Tavush Diocese

IJEVAN, SEPTEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan assumed the religious leadership of Tavush Province by a Sunday liturgy at Saint Nerses the Graceful Church of Ijevan.

The church was crowded with believers who had arrived from different parts of Armenia. The liturgy delivered by the religious leader was full of victorious spirit. “Whoever enters here must feel the power of light and must have the sense of victory and hope towards life. One should never appear in a poor, oppressed and miserable condition”, “Armenpress” reports that the newly appointed leader of Tavush Diocese.

He showed a toy car from the Holy tabernacle which had been pierced by Azerbaijani shooting. “During the last days we were kept under fire, Yerevan was in panic but in our villages people were playing backgammon, watching TV, cultivating their garden and guarding the border. We always said that there is no panic here. Here brave and descent Armenian live who protects his border and all of us. One of the protectors of the border is the owner of the toy car”, His Eminence said.

The leader of Tavush Diocese urged to love each other. “We can have differences in our ideologies but it must not cause hatred. It is too much for us”, concluded His Eminence bishop Bagrat Galstanyan.
