Bako Sahakyan decorates state awards on Artsakh 24th anniversary

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. In connection with the 24th anniversary of the Artsakh Republic proclamation President Bako Sahakyan signed decrees on decorating with state awards and conferring honorary titles.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Central Information Department of the NKR President Office, for exclusive bravery and personal courage shown during the defense of the Motherland one individual was awarded with the Battle Cross Order of the second degree.

For personal courage shown during the battles for the defense of the Motherland three individuals, one of them posthumously, were awarded with the "For Courage" medal.

For contribution to the defense of the Motherland as well as for courage shown during the service 129 individuals, two of them posthumously, were awarded with the "For Service in Battle" medal.

For services rendered to the Nagorno Karabagh Republic one individual was decorated with the "Mesrop Mashtots" Order, eight individuals were awarded with the "Vachagan Barepasht" medal, one individual was decorated with the "Mkhitar Gosh" medal, twenty-three individuals, one of them posthumously, were awarded with the "Gratitute" medal.

For substantial contribution to the development of science, culture and art NKR Honorary titles were conferred to a group of individuals.
