Increase of electricity tariff to be subsidized until completion of consultations in PSRC

YEREVAN, AUGUST 31, ARMENPRESS. The Government of the Republic of Armenia will remunerate the increase of the electricity tariff for the citizens and small and medium enterprises until the completion of consultations at the Public Services Regulatory Commission. The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Yervand Zakharyan mentioned about this in an interview with journalists after the Government session.

According to him, the Government will subsidize half of the amount of the increased electricity tariff for small and medium enterprises consuming 500 kw (for 250 kw). “Small and medium enterprises consume nearly 500-600 kw electricity. Some of them will be subsidized for 250 kw. Large industrial enterprises and large businesses will not be subsidized”, “Armenpress” reports that the Minister informed.
