Arnold Schwarzenegger asked Armenian sports photographer to send his photos

YEREVAN, AUGUST 4, ARMENPRESS. Armenian sports photographer Grigor Choloyan photographed the American sportsman of Austrian descent, film actor, previous governor of California State Arnold Schwarzenegger during 1970s. ‘Armenpress” reports that an item is introduced at the temporary exhibition headlined “Armenian sport and Gymnastics in Ottoman Empire” at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, according to which Arnold Schwarzenegger wrote a letter to “Araz studio” where the Armenian photographer worked, and asked for a number of photos.

“A few years ago “Araz” photographed me and I wish to acquire that photos which I will use in my book “Education of Bodybuilding”, is said in the letter of Schwarzenegger.

It is unknown if the photos reached to the famous actor as Grigor Choloyan was already dead in 1977.

Temporary exhibition “Armenian sport and Gymnastics in Ottoman Empire” will be perfumed at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute from August 4 to October 1.
