FRESNO, JULY 22, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Museum of Fresno republished “The Voice of Anguish”, a book comprised of more than 353 letters written by Armenians during 1915-1918 who were facing atrocities, starvation, deportation, murder, and annihilation. These letters were written to relatives and friends across the world, including those who settled in the Syrian Desert and the Caucasus. The presentation of the book took place In California University, Fresno in May 21. Armepress reports the latter referring to “Asbarez”.

The book was compiled by Petros Tonapetyan, who mentioned:

“The author of the book is not one person, but hundreds of them, but they, with a scarce exception of several people, no longer live on this earth. ”

The online version of the book is also available in English and Russian. The translations into German, Turkish, and French are also planned.
