100-year-old Harutyun tells Georgians how his family survived from Armenian Genocide

TBILISI, JULY 13, ARMENPRESS. A meeting with 100-year-old Harutyun Mesumyan took place in the Armenian Culture Center in Georgia. As Armenpress reports Mesumyan told the attendees the story of his family’s survival from the Armenian Genocide. He detailed how they were able to get to Eastern Armenia from Erzurum and later move to Georgia. As Georgian media outlets inform, Harutyun introduced the fate of his family members during the meeting which lasted more than an hour. The vast majority of the participants of the meeting were Georgians. Harutyun elaborated on how the members of his family survived from the Armenian Genocide and introduced the rare documents and photos which were handed over from generation to generation.
