Government to support Children of Armenia Fund

YEREVAN, JULY 6, ARMENPRESS. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan received the founder and chairperson of the Children of Armenia Fund Garo Armen and the executive director of the fund Anush Yedigaryan.

As“Armenpress”was informed from theInformation and Public Relations Department of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the PM was familiarized with the activities and future plans of the Fund during the meeting. Particularly, it was mentioned that the project of the construction of the innovative educational center SMART is in process in the Debet community of Lori Province. The Center will host schoolchildren and teenagers from local communities, as well as highly qualified specialists. Modern technologies, foreign languages and different arts will be taught at the center.Children of Armenia Fund intends to open similar centers in other regions of Armenia. Appreciating the initiative aimed at developing rural infrastructure, Hovik Abrahamyan expressed his government’s readiness to assist with the implementation of different initiatives.
