Pavilion dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial to be presented at Venice Biennale

YEREVAN, 29 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. Eighteen Diaspora Armenian artists will showcase their works at the Venice Biennale. As “Armenpress”reports, citing The Art Newspaper, the pavilion will be dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
The Armenian pavilion will be located at St. Lazar Island, which is an Armenian Catholic convent and the residence of the Mekhitarist Congregation. The Armenity pavilion, curated byAdelina von Furstenberg,will be open from May 6 to October 18 and will include the works of Sarkis, who was born in Turkey, lives in Paris and will also be representing Turkey at the Venice Biennale.
