Bordyuzha expresses confidence in “joint multilateral and impartial investigation” into Gyumri tragedy

YEREVAN, 19 JANUARY, ARMENPRESS. Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Bordyuzha has expressed confidence in the joint multilateral and impartial investigation into the tragedy of Gyumri. As “Armenpress” reports, Bordyuzha expressed this opinion during a telephone conversation with Armenia’s Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan.

Bordyuzha expressed condolences to the relatives and close ones of the victims and the entire Armenian nation in relation to the murder of the Armenian family in Gyumri.

As CSTO press secretary Vladimir Zaynetdinov told TASS, issues on implementation of the decisions adopted during the December sitting of the CSTO Collective Security Council in terms of “military cooperation”, as well as the situation in the Caucasus collective security region (ongoing intensification of the situation due to regular shootings by Azerbaijan at the line of contact and on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border) were also discussed during the telephone conversation. The need for weakening tension and the lack of an alternative to the peaceful settlement of the conflict were emphasized.
