YEREVAN, 16 JANUARY, ARMENPRESS. On behalf of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Chair of the Commission Nikolai Ryzhkov has sent a telegram of condolence to the head of the Armenian side, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Hermine Naghdalyan in relation to the tragedy that took place in Gyumri. As “Armenpress” reports, the following is stated in the telegram:
“Dear Hermine Naghdalyan,
On behalf of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, we express our deep condolences to the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the Parliament and all Armenians on the horrible tragedy that happened to the Avetisyans in Gyumri on January 12. Our government strictly condemns that heinous act. There is no motive that can justify the murder of innocent people. We are certain that the culprits will be brought to justice by law. We hope that tragedy doesn’t have an impact on our countries’ longstanding friendly relations.”
