Avetisyans' relatives issue statement demanding a fair verdict

GYUMRI, 16 JANUARY, ARMENPRESS. The relatives of the Avetisyans, who were murdered in Gyumri on January 12, have issued a statement with the demand for the criminal to get the strict punishment that he deserves. During a ceremony of paying tribute to the Avetisyans at the Shirak Cemetery, deceased Seryozha Avetisyan’s cousin, Samvel Hovhannisyan made a statement on behalf of the Avetisyans’ relatives and mentioned that the relatives had nothing to do with the incident that took place yesterday, but expect a fair verdict for the criminal.“On behalf of all the relatives, I would like to say that none of our relatives took part in organizing or holding the incident that took place yesterday. We have been in mourning. Our demand is justice. We demand bringing that person to justice and clarifying why the crime was committed. We don’t want it to be repeated. The entire Armenian nation is mourning with us. May this be the first and last time! Once again, we demand a fair verdict. We don’t want to see the repetition of this crime,”the relatives declared, as “Armenpress” reports.
