Hovik Abrahamyan praised John Heffern’s contributions to strengthening of U.S.-Armenia relations

YEREVAN, 19 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received outgoing U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia John Heffern.

As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Government of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to John Heffern for the work completed and the active cooperation during his term in office and wished him success in the future. Hovik Abrahamyan praised the Ambassador’s contributions to the strengthening of U.S.-Armenia relations and the implementation of joint projects that have helped make substantial progress in bilateral relations. The head of government mentioned that the U.S. is an important partner for Armenia and that Armenia praises the financial and technical assistance that the U.S. government has been providing to Armenia since Armenia’s declaration of independence.
