GAVAR, 15 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Based on the results of the December 14 elections for the heads of the Getik and Norabak villages of Gegharkunik region, head of Getik village, non-partisan Sargis Syunts and head of Norabak village, member of the Republican Party of Armenia Vazgen Asaturyan have been re-elected. As secretary of the electoral commission of Precinct N 23 of Gegharkunik region Samvel Abrahamyan reports to “ArmenPress”, based on preliminary data, incumbent head of Getik village Sargis Syunts garnered 150 votes, while his opponent, member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun, former head of Getik village Ashot Dallakyan garnered 116 votes. Out of 139 voters, 138 voters cast their votes for and one villager voted against Norabak village’s sole candidate, incumbent village head Vazgen Asaturyan. At midday on December 15, the commission hadn’t received any complaints about electoral violations.
