Deceased soldier Garik Ispiryan’s funeral turned into a pan-national commemoration ceremony

GAVAR, 11 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The body of temporary soldier of the Armenian army Garik Ispiryan, who was killed while defending the borders of the homeland in the combat positions, was buried today in the Geghhovit village of Gegharkunik region through the military procedure and to the sounds of volleys. As “ArmenPress” reports, thousands of people not only from Geghhovit, but also different villages of Martuni participated in the funeral.

Among those who had come to express their condolences to the parents of the deceased soldier were the leaders and staff of the regional council of Gegharkunik region, the military commissariat of Martuni and the village council of Geghhovit village, the teachers and students of the village, as well as military servicemen and other officials.
