Vice-President of Uruguay visits Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial

YEREVAN, 8 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. On December 8, Vice-President of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, President of the Senate Danilo Astori, with the accompaniment of Head of the Armenia-Uruguay Friendship Group of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Sukias Avetisyan, visited the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial.

As the Department of Public Relations and Media of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, the President of the Senate of Uruguay laid a wreath at the monument to the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 and respected the memory of the 1.5 million innocent victims by bowing his head and with a moment of silence.
