Armenia's "open skies" policy and tourist attractiveness presented in US

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. The National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia took part in the World Routes 2014, the 20th World Route Development Forum in Chicago, US from September 20-23.

The Public Relations Office of the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia informed “Armenpress” that with an attendance of over 3,000 delegates, representatives of over 300 airlines, 800 airports, 200 tourism authorities, it is one of the leading events of aviation industry in the world, while serving as an effective platform of discussion of challenges and perspectives of the sphere.

The activities and results of RA Government adopted “Open skies” policy and Armenian tourism promotion were presented during the forum.

Meetings were held with around 20 companies.

NCFA's participation in this major forum aims to promote the involvement of investments and new air carriers to Armenia.

The National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA) is an independent entity founded through a partnership between the Government of Armenia and a group of global business leaders of Armenian descent. The mandate of the Foundation is to achieve breakthrough development toward national competitiveness in key areas of economic activity through public-private partnerships and mobilization of strategic investments.
