Armenia’s Prime Minister receives Armenian General Benevolent Union Chairman

YEREVAN, JUNE 30, ARMENPRESS. Today, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan received the Chairman of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Perch Sedrakyan and the member of the AGBU Central Board Vazgen Yagubyan.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that the Head of the Government highly appreciated the AGBU mission in the promotion of the spiritual, educational and cultural development of the Armenian people. Hovik Abrahamyan expressed readiness to support all the initiatives and programs carried out in the direction of the preservation of Armenians and strengthening of the homeland both in Armenia and the Diaspora.

AGBU Chairman Perch Sedrakyan underscored that the programs carried out by the support of the union should be directed to the strengthening of ties with the homeland and settlement of Diaspora issues.
