Mr. Vardapetyan, yesterday you managed to celebrate victory over the World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen, an event which caused the surprise and admiration of many. First, I would like to know how long you play chess and what role it has in your life.
I started to play chess in school age, second-third grade. I was born in Javakhk, in a teacher's family, and all our family was fond of chess. Not only my family but also our entire village liked it very much. I remember that we were taking part in competitions and for me it was a super- achievement when I became the winner among the pupils, and I brought the cup to the school, which I finished.
