Armenia’s President and Georgian Parliament Chairman discuss wide range of issues on inter-state cooperation

YEREVAN, JUNE 18, ARMENPRESS. Today, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan who is in Georgia by an official visit had a meeting with the Chairman of the Georgian Parliament David Usupashvili.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the President’s Staff of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that the President of Armenia and the Chairman of the Georgian Parliament discussed a wide range of issues relating the Armenian-Georgian inter-state cooperation agenda. The interlocutors stressed the exclusive significance of the inter-parliamentary cooperation in the further development and deepening of efficient cooperation between Armenia and Georgia.

Serzh Sargsyan and David Usupashvilishared the opinion that there is a need to make meetings between the inter-parliamentary friendship, the standing committees of Parliaments regular in favor of making the bilateral ties closer and activating contacts between the two countries in different levels.
