YEREVAN, JUNE 5, ARMENPRESS. In connection with the issue of the borders, the Eurasian Economic Union has a lot more serious work to do than to discuss a letter from the president of a country which is not a member and even does not intend to join the Eurasian Economic Union. By the International Law specialist Vigen Kocharyan’s assessment, the Armenian-Turkish border issue becomes a lot more important. After the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union the Armenian-Turkish border will become the border of two international economic unions, since Turkey is a member of the EU Customs Union. "The Armenian-Turkish border becomes the outer boundary of the Eurasian Economic Union, and, respectively, in the future the Eurasian Union should deal seriously with its status and take appropriate steps to normalize the border situation. The current situation cannot be considered as normal in the modern world", in a conversation with "Armenpress", noted Vigen Kocharyan.
