 “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund implemented several projects in Tavush region

YEREVAN, MAY 23, ARMENPRESS. The delegation of the members of theBoard of Trustees of "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund, local government representatives, donors and staff on May 23 visited Tavush region Khachardzan, Lusadzor and Ditavan villages.

As “Armenpresss" was informed from the Press Service of the Foundation, by the sponsorship of the Argentine-Armenian Kalchiyan family a health office and a multifunctional hall are built in Khachardzan village which has 400 residents. New building is furnished and equipped with kitchenfacilities. "From now on, only in extreme cases it would be needed to get to the regional center" – said the Community Head Gagik Shahnazaryan, who thinks that the problem of drinking water continues to be a priority for the community.

In Lusadzor village a farm was founded with 180 breeding cows imported from Switzerland and Denmark, funded by the French local body. Within the Fund's Rural Development Program, funded by the Italian Government, the UN Development Program implemented drinking water and irrigation, as well as a community center construction projects in the community. This community has 700 residents.

In Ditavan, funded by the Kalchiyan family, greenhouses were built for 5 families.Hrach Alikhanyan told

that it is the first year that his greenhouse functions.He grows tomatoes, beans, garlic, strawberries and herbs.

Ditavan community has 300 residents.Thanks to the Foundation's benefactors Armen and Nadia Ekserjiyans from Argentina, the community now has drinking water, community center and school.
