Government to support SME development in its whole form: Hovik Abrahamyan

YEREVAN, MAY 16, ARMENPRESS. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan held a meeting with the representatives of small and medium entrepreneurship. The Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hermine Naghdalyan, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan, the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Khachatryan, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Karen Chshmarityan, representatives of different social organizations attended the meeting.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that addressing the participants the Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan noted: “Realizing the role of the small and medium entrepreneurship in the social-economic development of the country, insurance of economic growth and establishment of workplaces, the Government will keep under focus the SME sector and will support the development of this sector in its whole form. The assistance will be carried out by the main following tools: support to the start-up business, credit guarantees and providing with credits. As new tools we will assist the local economic development and individual sector businesses”.
