All businessmen in Armenia should work in equal conditions: Hovik Abrahamyan

YEREVAN, MAY 15, ARMENPRESS. The Government adopted new rules for the game: all the businessmen should work in the same conditions in Armenia. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan stated this in a conversation with the journalists before the session of the executive body. He underscored that he will begin from himself. “I want to say that I will begin from myself for everybody to understand that there should be equality,” Hovik Abrahamyan said as reported by Armenpress.

He noted that his address is directed to everyone starting from himself. “Doing Business is not a shame: if you are a businessman, everyone will say it. We are in favor of everybody to deal with business but it should be done in equal conditions. I ask everyone to work in the equal field, if not, then we will apply our leverage,” he underscored. Hovik Abrahamyan added that we should do our utmost to make Armenia become attractive to foreign investors.

Reacting on the reports of the media on that there cannot be equality in the business sector in Armenia the Prime Minister urged to publish objective information in order not to hinder the flow of foreign investments.
