Economic component of bilateral relations is of particular importance for Armenia and France: Serzh Sargsyan

Today the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and the President of France Francois Hollande who paid an official visit to Armenia participated in the opening of Armenian-French economic forum in "Armenia Marriott" hotel. The Presidents made speeches. They also responded to the questions the participants were interested in.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the President’s Staff of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that in his opening speech the President of the country noted that he is glad that the official visit of the President of France Francois Hollande is marked by the conduction of the Armenian-French business forum. It is not random that this ceremony marks the beginning of the President Francois Hollande’s official visit.

Expressing his satisfaction with the fact that the forum was attended by businessmen representing various sectors, the President of the Republic of Armenia underscored that such meetings are not only means to promote trade turnover relations but also an important platform in terms of introducing the values ​​and principles put in the basis of Armenia's economic development.

He expressed confidence that from the point of establishinglong-range business relations, realizing programs of mutual interest and making long-term investments the existence of reliable partnership relations is of paramount importance.
