Armenia’s President congratulates Assyrian community

YEREVAN, APRIL 1, ARMENPRESS: The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to the Assyrian community of Armenia on the occasion of Kha b' Nisan (the Assyrian New Year). The Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the Armenian President’s Office informed Armenpress that the message of Serzh Sargsyan says in particular:

“I warmly congratulate the Assyrians of Armenia on the occasion of Kha b' Nisan.

Dear friends,

I do not doubt that the centuries-old neighborhood, friendship and the cultural relations of the Armenian and Assyrian peoples will continue. We will mutually enrich and strengthen each other.

Let the Kha b' Nisan, which symbolizes the awakening of nature and fertility, bring to the Assyrians, living in Armenia, joy and happiness. Let the coming year be for you a year of efficient successes and new achievements”.
