Armenia’s PM attends EPP summit

YEREVAN, MARCH 21, ARMENPRESS. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan has participated in European Peoples’ Party summit held in the capital of Belgium Brussels. Political leaders from the EPP member parties, presidents of courtiers, prime ministers and ministers are taking part in the summit.
The Information and Public Relations Department of the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” that during the EPP summit the Deputy Chairman of the RPA Tigran Sargsyan delivered a speech, in which he addressed the current challenges in regard to Europe and the region. Among other things Tigran Sargsyan touched upon the situation in Ukraine and particularly underscored: ''The Ukrainian crisis is in the center of attention of the world. It is a serious concern for our continent and a challenge to the peace and security of our region. Being in complicated geopolitical surrounding and facing serious challenges to security, Armenia has always supported exclusively peaceful settlement of disputes and crises. And we are sure that the Ukrainian crisis should be solved based on this principle in the first place. It should be settled through dialogue and negotiations based on the norms of international law.''
