Armenia’s President visits building site of governmental buildings’ new complex and attends opening of medical instruments factory

YEREVAN, MARCH 14, ARMENPRESS:Today, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan visited building site of the capital of the new complex of the governmental buildings which is built in V. Sargsyan 3 address (the complex is envisaged for the administrative buildings of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Justice, Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia ).

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the President’s staff of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that during the tour Serzh Sargsyan got acquainted with the process of the constructive work activities of the complex accompanied by the Minister of Urban Development of the Republic of Armenia, the Mayor of Yerevan, the Chairman of State Committee for Architecture by the Government of the Republic of Armenia and other responsible personalities.

It was reported to the President that the constructive work activities launched still in April 2013 go on corresponding to the dates envisaged by the program. The constructive work activities of the frame of the building have already been completed; currently installation work activities of engineering communicative ways, as well as work of exterior facades facing with stone slabs are ongoing. It was noted that by the 2nd stage of the constructive work activities a new administrative building with one underground parking and 8 ground floors is envisaged for constructing the total construction area of which is around 5,000 square meters. The construction will be completed in two and a half years.

Today, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan also attended the solemn ceremony of the opening of the factory of disposable medical instruments of “Mega Meg” company.
