Factory of disposable medical instruments opens in Yerevan

YEREVAN, MARCH 14, ARMENPRESS: Several types of medical needles, syringes, needles of insulin pens and vacuum drip systems of blood collection will form the main product of the factory of once disposable medical instruments opened in Yerevan on March 14. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, high-ranking officials of different fields, and foreign guests attended the solemn ceremony of the opening of the factory.

Representatives of Mass Media also had an opportunity to follow the first work activities of the factory through a tour. They walked through the halls of the factory and were present at the whole preparation process of the product.

Armenpress reports that the general director of the factory Zhirayr Hepoyan stated in a conversation with the journalists that the factory will develop in three stages. “Now the first stage is operated during which we plan to issue1, 2.5, 10, 20 ml syringes, needles which will be fully prepared here. We will also issue special needles for insulin pens of all sizes in this stage,” Hepoyan said.

According to him, the entire product of the factory corresponds to the European highest Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards which will give an opportunity to export the product both to Europe and neighboring countries.
