Armenia’s President offers letter of condolences on Grigor Gurzadyan’s death

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 24, ARMENPRESS. Today, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan offered a letter of condolences on the occasion of the death of the renowned astrophysicist, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia Grigor Gurzadyan.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the President’s Office of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” that the letter of condolences directed to the Gurzadyans family runs as follows: “The scientist who migrated from the Diaspora to Armenia, got educated in the homeland and obtained world fame devoted all his life to the development of a unique area of the national science, led scientific centers, worked out space systems.

The talented scientist also had unique grants of a philosopher, writer and artist which appeared in his popular essays and colorful canvases.
