More than 900,000 tourists prefer Armenia

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 1, ARMENPRESS: The indicators of the tourism in Armenia continue steadily growing. In 2013 924,965 tourists visited our country. In comparison with 2012 that figure has increased by 9,7%. The National Statistical Service of Armenia informed Armenpress that during the months of January-December 2013 906,154 Armenians left the country with tourism purposes. The indicator has grown by 12,3% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

During the months of January-December 2012 843,330 tourists arrived in Armenia, registering a growth of 11,3% in comparison with the previous year. In the same period of time 806,555 Armenians left the country with tourism purposes. The indicator has grown by 12,8% in comparison with the same period of 2011.
