Russian President Vladimir Putin to pay state visit to Armenia

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will conduct a state visit to the Republic of Armenia on December 2 upon the invitation of President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. The Mass Media and Public Relations Department of the President’s Office informed “Armenpress” that within the framework of the upcoming visit the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will have a meeting with the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. Presidents Sargsyan and Putin will attend a row of events in the city of Gyumri and capital Yerevan, including the Armenian-Russian Interregional Conference. The Presidents will also visit the 102nd Russian military base.
The bilateral negotiations will kick off in the Presidential Residence in Yerevan. The interlocutors will discuss the realization of the agreements reached upon on September 3, 2013 in Moscow, exchange ideas regarding the activities aimed at Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union and Common Economic Space, and the future steps as well. Also, the sides will sign a row of documents aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations and cooperation.
The results of the Armenian visit of the President of the Russian Federation will be summed up at the course of the meeting of Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin with the mass media representatives.
