Moscow has yet to decide on Putin-Trump meeting at G20 summit

It is still too early to discuss a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump at the G20 summit, as no decision has yet been made.

According to RIA Novosti, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the remarks.

“It is still too early to talk about this. No decision has yet been made,” Peskov told reporters in response to a question about a possible meeting between the Russian and US leaders at the G20 summit.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Washington had invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to the G20 summit, which is due to take place in Miami in December.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia was grateful for the invitation extended to Putin to attend the G20 summit and that it would be considered.
